You found an opportunity on Pulley that you are excited about. You can soon start reaping the rewards. All you have to do is follow the three step process outlined in the platform.

Step 1 - Sync the Audience

Every Pulley opportunity comes with an associated platform such as Facebook, MailChimp, or Klaviyo. When you click sync in step 1, Pulley ports over the audience to the associated platform where you can set up automations (more on this later) to automatically send an email once one of your users is added to it.

As users move in and out of opportunities, Pulley automatically updates the audiences on your email or ad platform so you don’t have to worry about it.

You can manually export your audience for sanity checking, but Pulley recommends you do not try to manually sync audiences yourself. It’s just safer and faster with Pulley. Learn more about syncing.

Step 2 - Create an email template or a Facebook ad

Once you have synced the audience, you need to create an email template or an ad depending on the opportunity. Some opportunities are for email retargeting, while others recommend retargeting through Facebook ads.

Creating an Email Template

Create an email template in your email platform (Klaviyo or MailChimp) as you would for any other campaign. Include products that the Pulley opportunity recommends to include in the email, and you are good to go.

Creating a Facebook Ad

Create a Facebook ad as you would any other ad. Include products that the Pulley opportunity recommends to include in the ad, and you are good to go.

Once the email template or the ad has been created copy the name of the template or ad, and head over to Pulley. Paste in the name in Step 2 and you are good to go.

Step 3 - Create the Automation / Run the Ad

If the opportunity is for email, you will have to create an automation in your email platform. Otherwise, you can simply start running the ad and you are done.

Creating an Automation

You really don’t want to be manually sending emails to thousands of users that Pulley identifies in its opportunities. Creating an automation is an easy and simple way to ensure your users get emails when they are most ripe to buy.

Every time a new user is synced to your audience, the automation will automatically send them an email at the time of day and with the email you specified.

See this article on how to create automations for more details.
