There are three hierarchical roles in Pulley, each with different permissions.

Note that permissions are set on a workspace level (i.e. for a given connected ecommerce store), not at an email address level.

In other words, just because you are a Manager is one store, does not mean that you are automatically a Manager of any other stores you are invited to.

When a new store is first added to Pulley, the user who adds it is granted the Administrator roll by default, though multiple Administrators can be added.

  • Analyst
    These users can not:

    • View or change any aspects of billing

    • View or manage any aspects of user access (they can not change assigned roles, remove users, or invite new users).

    These users can:

    • View data from every connected data source for a given workspace

For example, for a store that also has Facebook and Klaviyo connected, Analysts can see all data, including store metrics, Facebook metrics, and Klaviyo metrics in Pulley.

  • Manager
These users have all the permissions of Analyst role, plus they can manage invited members and roles

    They can not:

    • View or change any aspects of billing

    They can:

    • View and manage every aspect of user access (they can not change assigned roles, remove users, or invite new users). Note: only an Administrator can change a user's role to Administrator

    • View data from every connected data source for a given workspace

For example, for a store that also has Facebook and Klaviyo connected, Managers can see all data, including store metrics, Facebook metrics, and Klaviyo metrics in Pulley.

  • Administrator
These users have access to every feature available in Pulley

    They can:

    • View and change every aspect of billing

    • View and manage every aspect of user access (change assigned roles, remove users, or invite new users). Note: only an Administrator can change a user's role to Administrator

    • View data from every connected data source for a given workspace
